Haris Shah
President
Known as “Shah” he currently serves as the Deputy Headboy of ISL. Whether it be being named the best debater at Balliol college at Oxford or hitting the 50+ co Curriculars achievement mark, he’s currently serving the community with his ngo Falah. When he’s determined to do something you’ll most probably hear “cheeeeta cheetaaa HARIS cheetah” at the closing ceremony. He’s the most chill person you will ever come across in Falah (“Han ez scene”, “hojaye ga”, “tension na lo”). He loves traveling and runs by, “manzilo ki kia khabar jinhe raasto sey ishq ho.” Despite him being calm and collected, he has led Falah into Oxford and collaborated with the UK government in a research on Heat waves and climate change
Being one of the best munners at ISL and an overall leader dreaming to pursue Law from LSE. Shah is the person you will (hopefully) learn a lot from and get impressed by. His commitment to Falah can be seen by trying his level best to use Falah as a platform to invite students and bring them all together under 1 flag to work for the community. He believes that Falah’s progress has
only been possible due to the team who has been working since day 1, the donors and the executive council which has never given up its dedication for the community and Falah. “Khidmat sey Khuda” is a motto which is very close to his heart and he will continue to do so.
